2008 New York Performance Field Trip

April 24 - 27, 2008

Thursday. April 24. 2008

     8:17am             Depart Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport on Airtran Flight #360.

     10:30am           Arrive at LaGuardia Airport in New York City.

                            We will be transported by motor coach into Manhattan.

                            Lunch which will be served at the South Street Seaport.

                            We will be treated to a guided tour of Manhattan.

      4:00pm            Check in to the Sheraton LaGuardia East.

      6:30pm            Dinner will be served at Dallas BBQ.

      8:00pm            Visit the Empire State Building for a ride to the Observatory on the 86^th floor.

    10:30pm            Return to the hotel.

Friday. April 25. 2008

   8:15am               Breakfast will be served at the hotel.

   10:00am             Guided tour of Carnegie Hall.

   12:00pm              Everyone will have the opportunity to eat lunch in the area of Carnegie Hall.

   2:00pm               Guided tour of NBC Studios.

   4:00pm               Return to the hotel to prepare for dinner.

   5:45pm               Dinner will be served at Variety Cafe; everyone will receive $12 for dinner.

   7:30pm               Arrive at the Neil Simon Theatre for a performance of "Hairspray."

   10:30pm             Return to the hotel.

Saturday. April 26. 2008

   8:00am               Breakfast will be served at the hotel.

   9:45am               Everyone will attend a Broadway Workshop entitled "Making Music."

   11:30am             Everyone will have the opportunity to eat lunch in the Times Square area.

   1:30pm               Arrive at the Gershwin Theatre for a performance of "Wicked."

   5:30pm               Arrive in Chinatown where dinner will be served at the Golden Unicorn.

   7:00pm               Everyone will have the opportunity to shop for souvenirs in the Chinatown area.

   10:00pm             Return to the hotel.

Sunday. April 27. 2008

     8:30am            Breakfast will be served at the hotel.

   10:00am            Time will be available to visit Central Park and for window-shopping on 5th Avenue.

     4:00pm            Check out of the hotel and proceed to LaGuardia Airport for our return flight.

                            Everyone will have the opportunity to purchase dinner at the airport Food Court.

    7:29pm             Depart New York's LaGuardia Airport on Airtran Flight 357.

    9:59pm             Return to Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson Airport.
